As a PADI 5 Star Facility, we offer all classes and lessons from Discover Scuba through Dive Master. Our instructional team prides themselves as experts and as such are continuously furthering their education in the field of diving. Most are Master Scuba Diver Trainers as well as Emergency First Response Instructors. Our goal is to give you the best education and to ensure your safety all while having fun and meeting new friends.
We offer classes in English, Spanish, Portuguese and French and also offer classes in Japanese, Italian, German and Dutch if you take the E-Learning program. See below to read more about this online learning package.
We offer 5 ways to get PADI Open Water Certified!
1. PADI OPEN WATER DIVER WITH E-LEARNING STUDY OR BOOK AND DVD (3 DAYS)
Learning to scuba dive has never been more convenient! Whether you’re on the go or want to take it slow, you can now complete the knowledge development portion, quizzes and final exam of the PADI Open Water Diver course online with PADI E-Learning. This class starts every Friday year-round and includes a day of diving in Key Largo.
The e-leaning portion (academic work, quizzes and exam) can be done in the comfort of your own home or anywhere with internet connection. This class is ideal for those coming from overseas because shipping the training materials is expensive and the U.S. DVD’s do not play correctly abroad. E- learning is now available in English, Spanish, French, Japanese, Italian and Dutch. If you prefer using the traditional book and DVD, this option is still available.
2. PADI OPEN WATER DIVER WITH E-LEARNING STUDY (2 DAYS)
This course is the same as the previous but conducted in just 2 full days! If time is what you don’t have, this is your class. It is conducted entirely here in Miami Beach which allows us to do the pool sessions in the morning and the dives immediately after in the afternoon. As this is a very intense schedule, you should be very comfortable in the water already (swimming etc).
3. PADI OPEN WATER DIVER- 2 WEEKEND CLASS WITH E-LEARNING OR BOOK AND DVD (HELD OVER 3 DAYS)
This course is the same as option 1 but occurs over the course of two weekends, for those of you who can’t take off a weekday. You will complete your pool dive and academics on a Sunday, and then do your ocean dives on Saturday and Sunday of the subsequent weekend.
4. SEMI-PRIVATE PADI OPEN WATER CLASS
You pick any day to do the academic and pool work (done one-on-one with one of our instructors) and then two days of open water diving. There may or may not be other students with you on the open water dives.
5. PRIVATE PADI OPEN WATER CLASS
This class is one-on-one for all three days and we will make a schedule that fits your needs. If you prefer, we can come to your home for the academics and pool session if your pool is at least 7′ deep and you live in the Miami Beach area.
Other classes that we offer include:
Would you like to try scuba diving but don’t have a license or the time to get a license? Then you should try our Discover Scuba Diving Program. In just one day you will be scuba diving in the ocean under the instruction of one of our master scuba diver trainers. This is not a certification class, however, should you continue and take the full Open Water class, we will credit $50 towards the class cost.
Have you already completed your class and pool work and just need to complete the 4 required dives? Then this program is for you.
The Advanced Open Water Diver program is the perfect opportunity to gain additional experience and skills under the guidance of a PADI professional instructor. You’ve learned the basic skills, now come learn how to properly navigate, plan and do deep and night dives(optional) and much more! No exams here, just simple quizzes and skills on each dive. We recommend taking this class right after the Open Water Class.
The Rescue course provides divers with skills that are essential for Self Rescue and for helping other divers. Reaching this level is recommended for anyone that is serious about diving and keeping yourself and your buddy safe.
Our EFR class teaches you basic first aid and CPR. As an option, we also teach child and infant CPR, choking, and first aid. We also offer AED instruction (Automated External Defibrillator) as well as oxygen use. This class is a pre-requisite to taking the Rescue class (by edwin at testsforge). We now also offer American Red Cross CPR/First Aid classes. You do not need to be scuba certified to take this class.
Upon completion of this course you will be a PADI Professional Member enabling you to independently teach some PADI programs and assist an instructor on all other classes. This is where you gain all of your diving related knowledge and it will qualify you to take the PADI Instructor Program.
We offer four specialized classes. Oxygen Administration, Advanced Oxygen Administration, Aquatic Life Injuries and The AED Provider Class. These can be taken individually or as a group.
